Getting Started
What is GameJo?
GameJo is an online browser gaming platform operated by Jainawat Software Pvt. Ltd. It helps visitors discover and play compatible browser games using technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, Canvas, WebGL and Unity WebGL.
Do I need to download or install games?
Supported GameJo games generally run through a compatible web browser without requiring installation of a traditional standalone game application. Your browser still downloads game files, graphics, audio and other resources needed to run the game.
How do I start playing a game?
- Browse GameJo and choose a game.
- Open the game's page.
- Select Play where applicable.
- Allow the required game resources to load.
Loading time can vary with the game, connection and device.
Do I need an account?
Account requirements depend on the GameJo features available when you visit. A game that does not require an account may still store some information locally in your browser.
Is GameJo free?
Many browser games may be accessible without an upfront purchase. Advertising or optional paid functionality may support certain games or services where implemented. This does not mean every current or future game will always be free or use the same business model.
Playing Games
What types of games can I play on GameJo?
The catalog can include genres such as puzzle, arcade, action, adventure, racing, sports, casual, strategy, match-3, bubble shooter, farming, simulation, and pool or billiards. The available catalog can change, so not every category is guaranteed to be present at all times.
Can I play GameJo games on mobile?
Many browser games may work on supported mobile browsers. Compatibility depends on the individual game, browser, device hardware, available memory, screen size and orientation. A game designed primarily for desktop controls may not behave identically on a phone or tablet.
Can I play on a desktop or laptop?
Yes. Compatible browser games may run on supported desktop and laptop browsers. Performance and compatibility can vary according to the browser, operating system, hardware and requirements of the individual game.
Can I play games in fullscreen?
Some games or browsers may offer fullscreen functionality. Availability depends on the game implementation, browser permissions and device. If a fullscreen control is provided, use it according to your browser's normal security prompts.
Can I play offline?
Most GameJo browser games should be expected to require an internet connection to load the game and required resources. Do not rely on a game being available offline unless that capability is specifically provided.
Which browser should I use?
Use a recent version of a modern browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Safari. Browser-game support can depend on JavaScript, WebGL, Canvas, browser storage and other web capabilities. Functionality may differ between browsers and devices.
Technical Help
Try the least destructive troubleshooting steps first so locally stored game data is not removed unnecessarily.
A game is not loading. What should I do?
- Check that your internet connection is working.
- Refresh the game page once.
- Wait briefly and retry in case resources are still loading.
- Make sure JavaScript is enabled.
- Update to a recent browser version.
- Close unnecessary browser tabs or heavy applications.
- Check whether a privacy, content-blocking or security extension is preventing required game resources from loading. Test carefully rather than permanently disabling security protections.
- Try another supported browser if appropriate.
- Restart the browser or device if the issue continues.
- If the same game still fails, email GameJo with the game name, page URL, browser and device details.
Why is a game running slowly?
Slow or unstable internet, limited device performance, low available memory, many open tabs, browser extensions, high-resolution graphics, WebGL or hardware limitations, background applications, or temporary network/server issues can affect performance.
Close unnecessary tabs and apps, check your connection, update your browser and restart the browser if needed. Lower in-game graphics settings when the game provides them.
Why do I see a black or blank screen?
A blank game area can occur while resources are loading or because of JavaScript restrictions, WebGL problems, browser extensions, compatibility issues, a failed network request or a temporary game problem. Refresh once, update the browser, carefully test relevant extensions/settings, or try another compatible browser. Do not permanently disable important security protections just to run a game.
Why is there no sound?
Check the device volume, browser tab mute setting and the game's own audio controls. Browsers can restrict autoplay, so clicking or tapping inside the game may be required before audio begins. Also check whether another audio device is selected by your operating system.
Game Progress & Saved Data
Where is my game progress saved?
It depends on the individual game. Some games may use Local Storage, IndexedDB, cookies or other browser storage. Some games may not save progress at all. GameJo does not claim that every game uses server or cloud saving.
Why did my game progress disappear?
Possible causes include cleared browser data, removed site storage, private/incognito browsing, switching browsers or devices, a browser reset or reinstallation, privacy-cleaning software, a game update, or a technical problem. Locally stored progress is tied to the browser storage that created it.
Can GameJo restore my lost progress?
GameJo may not be able to restore progress that existed only in local browser storage and has been deleted. Recovery depends on how the individual game saves data. Contact support with the game name and details if you believe a technical problem caused the loss, but recovery cannot be promised.
Will my progress move to another device?
Progress stored only in a browser generally does not automatically move to another device or browser. Synchronization would require a specific game or account feature that supports it; GameJo does not claim universal synchronization.
Should I play in private or incognito mode?
Private browsing can limit, isolate or remove stored information when the private session ends, depending on the browser. If you want locally stored progress to remain, normal browsing may be more suitable. Browser behavior varies.
Ads & Rewards
Why does GameJo show advertisements?
Advertising may help support operation of the platform and access to browser games. Not every game necessarily uses the same advertising format, and the experience can vary by game, region, device and availability.
What is an interstitial ad?
An interstitial is an advertisement that may appear at an appropriate transition, such as between gameplay moments, depending on the game and advertising implementation.
What is a rewarded ad?
A rewarded ad may let a player voluntarily view an advertisement in exchange for a game-specific benefit where supported. Depending on the game, examples could include an extra life, bonus coins, a continue option or a booster. Available rewards are determined by the individual implementation.
I watched a rewarded ad but didn't receive the reward. What should I do?
- Wait briefly for the game to process the completion event.
- Avoid refreshing immediately.
- Make sure the advertisement completed fully.
- Retry only if the game provides that option.
- If the issue continues, report the game name and page URL to GameJo.
Ad availability and reward handling can depend on the individual game and advertising provider. A replacement or compensation cannot be guaranteed.
Why isn't a rewarded ad available?
Availability can depend on advertising inventory, region, device or browser, privacy/consent choices, network connectivity, frequency limits and advertising-provider availability. A rewarded ad cannot be guaranteed to be available every time.
Can I remove advertisements?
GameJo may use advertising to support the platform, and ad experiences can vary by game and region. No universal paid ad-free option is represented here.
Account, Privacy & Cookies
Does GameJo use cookies?
GameJo and integrated services may use cookies and similar browser technologies for functionality, preferences, analytics, advertising, consent and game-related storage where applicable. See the Cookie Policy for more information.
What is Local Storage?
Local Storage is a browser feature that lets a website or game save information on your device across browsing sessions. A game may use it for settings, progress or other local data. Removing that site data can also remove the information stored there.
What is IndexedDB?
IndexedDB is a browser storage technology designed for larger or more structured local data. Browser games can use it to keep game resources, progress or settings, depending on their implementation.
How does GameJo handle privacy?
GameJo explains its broader data-handling practices in its Privacy Policy. That page should be used for details about information collection, use, sharing, storage and privacy choices rather than relying only on this FAQ.
How can I manage my privacy choices?
Where required and implemented, GameJo may provide privacy or consent controls for non-essential technologies. You can also review browser controls and GameJo's Cookie Policy. This FAQ does not provide a pretend consent-control button because the site's actual consent implementation should handle those choices.
What happens if I clear GameJo's cookies or site data?
Depending on how a game and browser work, clearing site data may remove preferences, consent choices, sessions, locally saved progress, scores or game settings.

Reasons can include technical issues, licensing, developer or publisher decisions, platform changes, security concerns, content concerns or other operational reasons. Permanent availability of a particular game is not guaranteed.
Developers & Publishers
I'm a game developer. How can I contact GameJo?
Developers and publishers can email contact@jainawat.com regarding potential browser-game distribution or publishing opportunities. Contacting GameJo does not guarantee that a game will be accepted or published.
